You’d have to ask a defense attorney that question. I think you’d find that certain firms have reputations of doing things the right way and doing things the wrong way. Really just depends on the firm.

My 13 year old daughter found my senior yearbook and thought it would be cool to read. I wasn't in the room but I don't think she'll ever look at me the same.
ETA - it wasn't a yearbook. It was one of those senior journals. "My ideal date is X". A look inside of my 17 year old mind is downright terrifying now.

I say racist things all the time but I always assume everybody knows jokes when they read them. (Except the ones with big words)
Here comes one now...
Paddy's walking home from the pub when he finds a woman tied to the railway track.
He frees her and takes her home where they make passionate love all night.
The next day Paddy's drinking with Seamus when he boasts about the night before.
"So what does she look like Paddy?" asks Seamus.
"I don't know," replies Paddy. "I haven't found her head yet!"
