Kevin Faulk and Rondell Mealey went watch Cecil Collins at McNeese when LSU had a bye week. All 3 signed this at that game.

I was at that game too. I remember seeing KF walking around the North end zone.

I have a friend who stages and holds estate sales. She said there is gorgeous old china at all of them and you can barely give it away. No one wants it. And none of the grandkids will keep it.

This. My 94 yr old grandmother just cleaned out her house and no one would take her 70 yr old China which she assumed was “priceless”. She finally took it down to a local shop who deals in that kind of stuff and he showed her the back room of boxes and boxes full. He said that the only demand for it is a piece or two at a time to either replace a broken piece or add another setting. NO ONE wants to buy a complete set of antique China.

Got my grandfathers lighter he clearly never used. Got it working a couple years ago but it needs more fluid now. Some hipster at the smoke shop knew how to get it to fire

I wonder if adding fluid would work.

Have a 1905 coiled water heater iron cast. Don't have the knowledge to upload the picture but can email the picture to you if you want to see it.

WWII Collector

My dad has a Japanese flag with messages to the guy’s family on it. My pawpaw got it in WWII off a soldier he killed. I wouldn’t ever sell it but is something like that worth anything? Also, it’s just folded up and I’m wondering what you’d recommend to do with it?

This was my grandfather’s. It’s not worth much, but very sentimental to me. I have some of his pocket knives in there as well.

How about two of the smallest Bibles you've probably ever seen? They are both New Testament.

They don't have much monetary value, particularly in their condition, but they've been around our family forever and are great conversation starters.

The Saints one, probably $50 because it’s just a basic one, but it’s an early one.

Actually, it wasn’t that early. Those 3-D version pennants came out around 1976 and you can buy them right out of the Sears Wishbook. I had that one and a Miami Dolphins one hanging in my room.

The older Saints pennants typically had the single bar facemask...

My dad had gotten one just like the one above during the first season of the Saints. It hung in my childhood bedroom until Katrina.

It would be great if you could have a historian review the messages and possibly identify the Japanese soldier. Next, you could have a genealogist find the Japanese soldier's surviving kin. Finally, you could post a photo of the flag on your Facebook and Instagram & tag any surviving kin.

But under no condition give them back the flag!

Robson lighters carry very little monetary value. It’s $25 tops. Now, vintage Zippos are BIG money

That’s the kangaroo from Pulp Fiction. If that is really yours, and not a photo you stole from the internet, it’s worth $100

Football rules book from 1958 that belonged to Mickey Mangham. I'm thinking maybe that Mangham and Lott were roommates, dorm 223. Bet they knew how to spell Mangham the next year they passed these out. lol.

Pretty cool but not too valuable because it’s not affiliated with LSU. Every player in the country had a copy. I would say $50

I beg to differ: Chinese Bandit Tommy Lott, a 5’9” 188 lbs. DT from Texarkana, AR was Mangham’s LSU roommate.

See if you can figure this one out. I "picked" it from a lady who's husband was a retired electrical engineer. Here's a hint: It was made in the late 1970's or early 1980's.
