Damn. I know him too. My father and Art played for LSU at the same time.
He shut a bar down in Natchez about that time as well. Art was to my knowledge the baddest man to wear purple and gold in a fist fight.
Edit: i misread 1990. He destroyed a bar in Natchez around 1980.
The fight in Tigerland I was referencing was probably 60 people.

Guy I went to high school with got thrown out by one of the bouncers and landed on his arm. He sued Kool Aid, the bar, the bouncer.......everybody.

My cousin got fricked up on Jack at Reggie’s one night. As I’m following him across the floor there’s a big 6’3” guy walking towards us and my cousin deliberately throws a shoulder into him.
My first thought was “mother fricker.”
Shoving starts in the bar, bouncers grab them with the quickness and haul them out the door where it instantly escalates. I’m only thinking about keeping my dumbass cousin from getting his arse destroyed.
Melee ensues and I’m in the middle playing peacekeeper. Had to go to the hospital that night to get stitches in the back of my head.
