Thanks for donating. They are so appreciative.

Feel free to spread the link through the back channels as long as you weirdos don't abuse my info. I do have a void check from them so this is legit.

Had a big breakfast sandwich from Cafe Mimi, so no lunch.

I gotta get my stress down. I've been so aggravated with basically everyone for days. Family members especially. Next time there's an event like this coming, I'm tempted to tell everyone to prep better and don't call us.

Welcome to my life!

Might I suggest a candy bar?

My dumbass computer is taking hours to compress a PDF and freezing every 5 seconds. Thank baby jesus my new laptop comes in today. I want to save this one as a back up but also want to slam in on the concrete and then drive over it. SO I feel you.

I just.. sigh. My grandmother has been spending 90% of her time in Basile where she's originally from.. so much so that my parents go check on her house a couple times a week. Yet for some insane reason, she came home to BR "for the hurricane" that people were evacuating for.

She eats very little so keeps nothing in her house. Went to the store pre-storm and bought 2 pork chops and like 1 other thing. Now a cousin in Watson came in to stay with her because grandma has power, and didn't bring food with her. So they go to the store, which is on generators and has no cold food, but they didn't buy anything because they "didn't see much they wanted".

"There was no bread."
My mom was like... Were there burger buns?
Grandma: Oh... yeah

So had to take a bunch of ingredients and food from mom's pantry/freezer.

It isn't so much these people don't know HOW to take care of themselves. They don't even try because they know we (my parents, and in Jones and I's case, us) to save their asses.

I saw where you said the area you were in MT. Beautiful place. Was it just for vacation?

To get the pretty people you need to go to Bozeman where the rich folks are. MT is surprisingly much hippier than I remember from growing up.
