I've said this before, and it may or may not be true, but if a thug is willing to use a gun to rob someone or murder someone, do you think the fact that they're breaking a law by possessing one is really a deterrent?
All it does is prevent law abiding citizens from owning one for protection. And clearly Chicago has a gun violence problem even with the restrictions that are/were in place.
I am also aware that the odds of a gun owner or someone in the house getting injured by it are much greater than it being used to protect themselves.

I did the same thing.
It's un-linkable.

That's what I call gun control. Nice shot, sergeant.

I'm sure the victim was a good kid and an entrepreneur. That Sergeant shouldn't be shooting people like that.

That won't do shite to the other 2. They'll memorialize this dickhead and say how much a good person he was, blah, blah, blah, then be back to trying to jack people at gas stations by Friday.

Not giving a shite about laws is what makes a criminal a criminal. Good thing the guy was a cop or he would be in trouble.

Rejoicing in the death of a sixteen year old. Classy.

Agree with this but I believe they'll think twice about running up to somebody so carelessly again.
Edit: didn't mean to include the first sentence.
