Was on a trip over there years back, bunch of fighter pilots and their families. One of the kids had just fileting a fish, was so proud. He goes “look Dad!” Slams the knife into the cutting board (like he’d seen his dad do,” and runs his hand down the blade, takes four fingers just about off. We got on the horn with the Coast Guard and they were there in thirty minutes. We were on Green Turtle.

It’s a US territory, and there is a USCG base there.

My bad, I thought it was. There is a USCG base there, though.

Bahamas are not a US territory, but there’s a USCG base on Great Inagua Island, in the southern Bahamas. This event was more north. Also, much of the Bahamas are very close to Florida, and I believe USCG patrols area and can easily and quickly access much of the Bahamas.

Disabled vessel with tropical storm coming. Boat was beached but they denied support to recover the vessel before it could drift into the pass.
Known submerged vessel in a major channel, for over 4 months, that they didn't mark or advise of. Struck said vessel, with damage to engines.
Fishing with kids, watching us catch fish, they make themselves available to pull us off fishing spot for a safety check, even though kids were wearing life vests.
I could go on.

Then you should re evaluate your boating skills.
Sounds like you don’t know what the frick you’re doing while on the water.

No, fairly seasoned. shite happens. First was mechanical issues, we got everyone to safety, they fiddle fricked around for over 2 days on a deployment plan.
Second, they negligently did not mark a sunken vessel, which was struck.
Third, they were just being assholes.

777Tiger should be banned because he is a shitty poster in general, not because he posted something in particular.

That makes me so sad. The world today is pitiful. I want to live in the 50’s with black and white TV, no social media, cell phones etc. What I’ve heard about that time is so much better than now. People today have no morals. No empathy. Lack of compassion. Today’s kids have a challenge to be decent people.

Trump tweeted a nice condolence message. I'll spare you from reading any of the trashy replies that immediately flooded.

I'm not a big coal enthusiast, but I'll be damned if I will publicly comment on how happy I am to have someone die, along with family and friends, in a tragic accident.
