So sad and terrible. My daughter is friends with the daughter. Very tragic. God bless the family.

If that doesn’t get a ban, then everyone should post nudes as a prelude to every pot, somebody go....

Beyond over the line. The reinstatement floodgates should be open if that dude doesn’t get whacked.

Faster than a billionaire with a chopper at his beck and call?

Doubt it.

Likely right. But maybe a take charge guy with a chopper wouldn’t see it that way watching his daughter suffer in the wee hours.

The same retards bitching about coal would be the ones crying the loudest the minute all of the US coal powered power plants are shut down and the U.S. electrical grid is crippled.

The same retards also fail to realize that all of the old coal powered plants have been retrofitted with scrubbers that virtually remove all of the airborne SO2 and Hg that leaves the stack.

They see the steam leaving the stack and assume it's coal pollutants. Idiots.

Anyway, don't want to derail the thread.

Scrubbers aren’t going in everywhere, just too costly for units that are getting close to being mothballed. Realistically, we are shutting good units down before their time and load demand has seriously stabilized thanks to energy efficiency.

We have 6 coal plants left in my area and 1 is getting mothballed soon and they are looking to get rid of 1 in coal friendly Kentucky. Unless we do some heavy regulation on gas or prices skyrocket on it. No coal in the valley will be a reality in the foreseeable future.

It just doesn’t make sense anymore. If anything we need peakers and not base load like coal plants.

I see what you’re saying, but if he called for a charter, an that’s my assumption, he didn’t consider it dire at that time.

Thanks steve, and sorry about the shot fired. Wish I could cue up the old lady with the pie in blazing saddles, but posting from the phone. And cheers because I can’t post that either.

Remember,he said with paramedics. I'd think s helicopter with paramedics could get to you faster than you could call up your helicopter and then find a hospital on the mainland

I’m actually a big fan of your posts. My father was a career Naval aviator, and I love everything about aviation.
