I’d be very interested to hear what the cause was if it was an AW139. Those things are tanks. 2 turbines engines and a gear box that’s rated for running dry for 30-minutes. I fly in 139s all the time going offshore.

“Friends say Kameron Cline, 22 suffered a medical emergency at her father Chris Cline's birthday bash on his Bahamian island - prompting Cline to put his daughter, 3 of her friends & 2 pilots on his helicopter to rush to a hospital. The chopper crashed two miles out, killing all 7”

Spent a lot of time in the Bahamas, the best/fastest way is the USCG. They will come get you, talking emergency now, with trained paramedics on board and get you to higher treatment ASAP.
