Thoughts on the proliferation of AI advertisements

basically every ad I get on the internet (YouTube, instagram, podcast ad reads, website banner ads) these days is for some sort of AI tool relating to coding or workplace productivity.
My questions is why? How many people are these reaching who either 1) are self employed/business owners or 2) someone who has authority or even influence on decision making for these things? I work for a somewhat big company and use what we are given. I can't just install Claude or some note taking app, as much as I might like to.
How many CIOs, and VPs of tech, etc. are watching Midwest Safety on YouTube or listening to sports podcasts? It doesn't add up to me. What am I missing?

I hate ads in general. I've been talking mad sh*t about bald people and now I'm getting ads for hair loss treatments in my email inbox. AI ads are worse because they're low effort. Do you even care if I buy your shite?

Either you have full access to Claude or you are using an inferior product. I’m not sure what all of these hucksters on LinkedIn are peddling to medium and small size firms and companies.

The AI chuck Norris Canes is both pathetic and really weird. And that’s a multi billion dollar company

An AI ad is an automatic "never buying your product" reaction from me.

Is that who that is? I haven't seen any commercials, but I see the billboard on the I10 every day, and I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be Norris or not.

It’s instantly noticeable and an instant no from me.
