fish and chips are always a hit food wise. It's a lot of fun, you can take 3-5 hours pretty easily imo

Last time we went we saw two guys doing a sword fighting show. They would explain the swords and how real sword fighting is nothing like the movies. Then they would fight. It was cool. Real sword fighting is very clunky

If it's like the Ren Faires in other states, it has become seriously family UNfriendly.

Not knowing how old your kids are it's hard to say what they'll think, but the 'adults' who attend often wear highly inappropriate costumes, drink way too much and act like fools and, like someone else mentioned, even the shows need to be screened because their appropriateness is questionable.

It used to be fun! It isn't anymore. And the price of everything?!?!

Dropped my son and some friends off there last year and saw plenty of skanky looking wenches walking in as I drove out.

Later on when I went back to get him, I parked in the lot and waited for him to walk out. A girl got out of the car next to mine and changed out of her costume into a tshirt. Full frontal nudity right there in the lot.

I might actually go in this year.

Anyone here have experience doing the onsite camping during weekend festivities? I'd imagine it's a blast at night.

Black Friday is family day. They open that Friday and tune the shows down to be more friendly
