I’m getting a lot of conflicting information here.

I was told the high heels are gay (unless in texas) and the ropers are where it’s at for normal people.

Get them if you like them but I personally think they look dumb and that it’s probably just a way to have a slimmer entry to wear with straight leg jeans. But get whatever works for you. I have a bunch of different pairs and my ropers have probably done more cowboy shite and stomped more cow shite than most peoples “cowboy” boots that they get polished regularly.

My current ropers are about 15 years old and have sentimental value from a long battle that we lost over boots in the Navy. However, the heel fell off today and getting them resoled is not worth it. I am getting another pair of ropers for work but never saw zip up “Cowboy boots” until today.
