Thoughts on Persol sunglasses?

I was just given a pair of these. Does anybody have any experience with them? I was looking around online and on their website they are priced between $200-$400
Anybody try them? Love them? Hate them?

I don't understand spending a lot on sunglasses.
I have some knockoff Oakley and RayBan from Alliexpress my wife got for like $20

I’m right there with you, I’m really good at breaking or losing an expensive pair of sunglasses. Like I said, somebody gave these to me

I’ve only wore them once but they were comfortable. I was in a pool and some dude shot a basketball that bounced off the side and hit me in the face, I thought they broke

Of all the threads on Tigerdroppings, the “Will I be cool if I wear X?” threads are the most ghey. I never realized how many guys are so concerned about being accepted for their fashion choices.
