Do you consider yourself elite enough for Mandeville?

Baw, if you had seen all the people watching the sunset on the lake today, enjoying friendships, cocktails, and food, you wouldn’t talk shite about our area.

I couldn’t think of any better place to live in LA

If they would quit building cookie cutter subdivisions in Madisonville and allow infrastructure to catch up to population growth, traffic wouldn't be so bad.

The stretch between Madisonville and Ponchatoula is hilarious. People driving 100k cars living in cheap arse spec homes crammed on top of each other.

It's a safe, cookie cutter burb, with good schools. And no good restaurants, but that is easy to look past. Traffic sucks too

Don’t listen to Lester. Someone from Mandeville fricked his mom.

Buy and build in Bedico outside of a subdivision. Send your kids if have any to Archbishop Hannan which is 5 miles away.

Dude, Rispone never really addressed state issues. He ran on national issues in a state election.

How did that work out for Louisiana's citizens when COVID happened?

It's weird that you said this like it was an argument in favor of the Dem.

St. Tammany is a crime-ridden cesspool of death. You don't want to move here.

North of 12, West of 190 will have traffic issues. Mandeville public schools are better than the rest, but choose wisely.

Right now I would try to get above I-12 for insurance

22 and 190 can have slight traffic but it's not comparable to a large city traffic like Houston, Orlando, Baton Rouge.

Schools are awesome. Public schools are good but we send our children to Cedarwood and that's one of the best private schools we've ever toured and we did some very prominent highly rated schools in Dr. Phillips, Winterhaven areas or Florida,

We love it here. We have 2 acres off the river just off of 190. Downtown Covington is awesome especially with kids.

Idgaf what anyone says I love the northshore. It's safe, reasonably priced with great food and easy access to LSU and New Orleans with great schools and awesome culture.

I wish there was better bass fishing

The whole traffic thing is WAY overblown. I’ve been here almost 10 years and rarely encounter what I would call bad traffic. Travel to/from Mandeville and Covington or Mandeville to/from Madisonville at peak times? Yes
the problem is that most people who live there are commuters and that traffic is a daily part of their lives. Maybe doesn’t apply to OP
