BMW X3 and Lexus RX are too small. We went with the MDX and are pleased with it. The Lexus RX350 was claustrophobic, felt like my head was right up in the roof

I have the Lexus and I love the ride, reliability, interior. The only two things I dislike is the Bluetooth is aggravating and doesn’t hook up as easy as it should and the wind blows it around too easy. These two things wouldn’t stop me from buying another one. Reliability and a smooth ride are higher on my priority list.

BMW X3- maybe the X5, but not the X3
Audi Q7- admittedly never ridden in one
Volvo XC90- very nice, but have heard absolute horror stories. Gets expensive very fast from when we looked
Lexus RX- after driving a Lexus, it's my favorite brand, but the RX is fugly and no 3rd row. But if you like the look, you cant go wrong
Infinity QX50- wife has the qx60. Nothing super wrong with it other than eating through tires in 30k miles. Just dont love anything about it
Acura MDX - interior did not feel "luxury" at all when we looked in 2017

Save a few dollars and get a GMC Acadia Denali. It's just as nice as those and cheaper. My wife fricking loves hers.

You might add the Volkswagen Atlas to your list. Sister car to Audi but different look. For safety can’t beat Volvo. Built like tank but regular maintenance can be pricey.

I looked at the atlas prior to getting my Q7 and was very impressed. The interior space in the atlas is comparable to the Yukon/Tahoe. It’s huge.

Buy a used Lexus LX/Toyota Landcruiser (or GX if you are on a budget). They run forever and are over-engineered. You can get one a couple of years old for the same price as a new but less reliable one from your list.
