My sisters shared a room. I was the only boy and got my own. We weren't poor at all. That was pretty common in the 70s-80s

I know it's the OT and whatever, but I shared a bedroom with 2 other brothers growing up. My sister had her own room. There is no absolute need for another bedroom.

Yeah I know I could make it work, but this isn't my final home. We will put the crib in our room and moving isn't urgent. Just saying it will need to happen in the future. Also not saying anything negative about your upbringing either lol. 8 year gap is pretty big, and daughter will have her own room.

It seems crazy that July is almost here and with this kid, doesn't seem like it's happening lol. Got diapers and some clothes, but nothing like when we had the other two. Still have tons of nice stuff in the attic though from my son that we can use. Wife and I need to have a few date nights and get the remaining stuff.

Wife can't be on pill for medical reasons. Neither of us want to be "fixed". don't want to wear rubbers.
All in all it isn't too bad. Actually worse on her. Makes for a more difficult clean up.

assuming you are married, what steps have you or your spouse taken to avoid an unwanted pregnancy?

I read recently that only 6% of men get snipped...

much lower % than I thought given it seems to be pretty safe with few complications.

Cumming from someone who has never had kids I just wear a condom, pull out or she is on the pill.

Clip it out and then you can bore it out without hesitation.

After the second one, I had the gun unloaded. The two greatest medical procedure ever invented are the vasectomy and breast implant.

I got snipped a few months after our daughter was born. I’m fact, I remember it was the day before the Auburn vs. LSU football game in 2008.

3 kids, not snipped, wife never on BC. Strong pullout game plus avoiding sex during ovulation has allowed us to only have planned pregnancies. Admittedly a good bit of luck was involved when we were dating and before we decided to have kids.

I don't think I'll get snipped. A bit too unnatural for me.

Had two boys. We tried for a girl and got twin girls. I was snipped a few months after they were born. No issue with procedure, no discomfort, followed recovery rules. Anytime is fair game now, but with 7 year old, 5 year old, and almost 3 year old twins, the anytimes are very often.
