I'm all for gay marriage for the sole reason that I want to see how the divorce courts handle the situation. They are so used to shoving a flaming hot poker up the mans arse, stripping him of all his worldly possessions handing them over to the whore ex-wife. now what are they going to do when it's two men getting divorced?

Oh. I must be mistaken. You surely have spoken with God then. Now we know for sure why we are here. All of that makes total sense. Seems like a good reason to create, reward and horrifically punish us. That confirmation is a load off. Thanks. You should spread this so all 7 billion of us now to avoid confusion.

and you call my statement utter horse shite. The audacity.. Speaking for god when no one has ever heard a peep from our creator. On anything much less SSM etc.

Poor thing.

If you want your life to get better you should introduce yourself to Him. Pretty cool ride.

Doesn't God already know us? Why would we have to introduce ourselves to him?

Illogical tradition fed by emotions.

and if it doesn't, or if it gets worse?? then, let me guess.... it's not God's fault, right? it's the person that did something wrong....

but it's going good, then yeah, God did that shite... for sure....

The gays don't bother me. Hell, wife has two gays for cousins. Lumping the gays with the cross/trans/surgically enhanced-gendered does not help their cause though. I have concluded, the only way a dude gets his "junk" removed(or whatever in the hell they do to it), is if he has struck out in the dating game. Maybe woke up to one too many fuglies. When I was young, parachute pants were a fad - now being gay is a fad. I

Some people are for it. Some people are opposed to it. If you're trying to force your beliefs on others, regardless of what side you're on, you're in the wrong.

Why two? And why unrelated?
Because the Constitution allows for incest and polygamy to be banned but not same sex marriage. Due process.

I stopped reading at the title, as your argument is invalid from the get go. "Marriage" is a religious ideal.
Then you need to read more because you don't know the first thing about the history of marriage.

Marriage wasn't a religious ideal until centuries after the church was founded. The church changed the definition of marriage, and it was good. Other changes have occurred, some good, some bad. Recognizing same sex marriages through a secular government is not an affront to Christianity.

The Oxford English Dictionary is delusional?

Who imparts a marriage, now?

Who imparts a civil union, now?

I still want the gays posting in this thread to tell me why most gay dudes talk like women all of the sudden when they come out of the closet. Why do they magically become all flamboyant and aggravating as shite when they open up their soul to the world?

So he's ignorant because he doesn't want his children to become homosexuals?
Yes. If you take this approach to parenthood, you shouldn't have children. You aren't qualified to raise kids. Having a father so fixated on sex is perverted and abusive.

What I will never understand is why gay dudes have to change the sound of their voices?
I hate those guys. It isn't the majority of them...just the loud ones, and they don't talk any different from half the guys in your church, either.

This is actually a concern of yours? You have to be a really spineless, weak man to be experiencing fatigue over this.

Look up the word. What you are describing is exactly homophobia according to every English dictionary you'll cite.

That would be devastating to me personally. All any parent wants is for their children to have a happy, normal, long life. It would hurt but I would have to support my son. That doesn't mean that I would have to be happy about the situation, but I would make every effort to give him the love and support that my parents gave me. Does that answer your question?
Pretty shitty that you would take that as a burden on yourself. Why not define your child by how smart, creative, successful, and dynamic he is rather than by who he's fricking? The fact that you even call it "the situation" means it's way too important to you. Let who your kid is into be his thing instead of yours. What do you have to lose? Your kid?
