1 in 8 struggles with infertility

Insurance coverage for infertility is only available in 15 out of 50 states in America.

IVF usually is not covered by insurance and can cost 10-20k a cycle. Many times more than one cycle is needed to actually get pregnant.

It’s a medical condition that isn’t resolved by “just relaxing”.

It isn’t just a female problem...almost half of all infertile couples deal with male factor infertility.

That's usually how I try to initiate the conception.

I thought it said infidelity at first. That would've been a fun thread.

My wife and I went through this for our 3 (last one was surprise twins). Had one miscarriage along the way but modern medicine is a wonderful thing

Glad y’all had a great outcome.

Infuriating that junkies can pop out babies they don’t want left and right....but I’ve got to take out a loan to hopefully get pregnant.

Ah ok. So infertility is where we are gonna draw the line at on the OT? Just want to make sure I know for the future.

Wow, that was a surprising statistic! It really says that you're not alone even though it doesn't get talked about enough.

I have a friend that's going through her second round of IVF. I really believe it's going to happen for her and for you too, Nurse!

Unless he has recently had sperm analysis done....he could have bad swimmers and not realize it.

GF has to have her eggs harvested due to cancer treatment, St Jude pays for the first round of IV if I’m not mistaken.

I’ve read in Canada that number is actually 1 in 6.

My girlfriends brother in law is infertile. her sister is pretty hot. I would offer to help out but i think that would be awkward.

edit: the poor dude is super embarrassed about it. happened from a war injury. I think he still has some weird swimmers so they are gonna try to do ivf

Are you dating a kid or does St Jude help adults with infertility issues?

Wife and I paid around $19k for our first and only round of IVF, which didn't work, but we are currently waiting for a placement for a foster kid, which we hope to end up adopting. Good luck to everybody struggling with infertility
