This virus was perfectly designed for a pandemic.

Not saying it’s man-made.

But the long incubation period plus the many asymptotic people who are contagious allows it to spread even more. It’s the perfect virus.

Thankfully it’s not as deadly as first thought or we’d really be in a world of shite.

I’m sure the military is gonna study this thing for warfare..

It was developed to clear out aging populations and solve the social security problem.

How do you know this? What evidence is there?

In China maybe.

They can’t sustain their population growth. They need a more deadly virus for that.

I do think this got out of a lab in Wuhan for sure. Whether intentional or accidental is still up for debate.

Then, was it man-made or naturally occurring? It'll be damn near impossible to prove with the Commie Chinese government.

If I was designing for devastation it would look more like Ebola with a long asymptotic incubation- but I guess if you wanted to design something to kill off the elderly for some reason then yeah- this would be a good design

70+% of cases show symptoms within 5 days of exposure. Where does this notion of a long incubation period come from?

Literally nothing has changed on mortality. If anything, if you define the CFR by the same definition used at the start, it’s gone up.

The only thing that’s really changed from the early days of the outbreak is how much more contagious than expected it is.

We still are in a world of shite even though it’s not that deadly. The over-reacting, draconian shutdowns, bending over any business that isn’t Walmarks or Amazon. None of these things needed to happen

Actually they are having the opposite problem because they created a culture of one child with their one child policy and now that they’ve cancelled it everyone is used to only having one kid per family. They are going to be screwed in a decade or two when the old people outnumber the young.

So we solve a multi-trillion dollar social security problem with a multi-trillion dollar problem?

Definitely.

If this virus had the characteristics it does plus the death rate of Ebola, we’d be in a world of shite right now. Like apocalyptic shite.

I’ve read/heard on the news that it can be up to 10 days or more.

There’s so much speculation/disinformation out there that it’s confusing.
