I'm not a Trump devotee like half this board, but this press conference has been top notch entertainment.
Fauci chewed up that story about him that's been running nonstop and spit it in the media's face.
And then Trump played a full on campaign video showing media reaction with timestamps throughout this thing.
Top notch entertainment. Will post when I can find on youtube.

Every single major european nation's media is not 100% going on unhinged attacks on leaders. Papers in those nations are 100% focused on reporting the medical side and highlighting the tremendous work medical field is doing to protect us.

the media are divisive, don't report news but attempt to make it, and are ridiculously critical while offering no suggestions of their own
i hate politics and almost all politicians are egotistical pieces of shite, but the media arrogance and smugness the last few years is truly something else.

LOADED QUESTIONS are so phony. They scream an accusation disguised as a question, sometimes multiple accusations in the same question all meant to editorialize and further a hostile narrative. And then they have a 6 person panel all trying to outdo themselves in advancing the phony narrative. And then they get furious because people know the difference between an editorial and a report and tune them out because they are such obvious phonies. Our media culture is hopelessly corrupt and beyond repair.

I loved it, and look forward to the briefings every day.
His best defense is a great offense. I have never been so interested in the political climate since he took office. I have to agree with the White House performing briefings every day to be transparent and control the sensationalism of the press.

The irony is that Trump won't take ownership of closing down the economy saying he only issued guidelines and the governors had control over it. Now, however, he wants to take ownership of the 'Reopening of America' saying it is 100% his own decision. The hypocrisy is obvious to all but the most ardent Trump nut-hugger.
The takeaway is that Trump doesn't give a shite about Federalism, rather, he is just a marketing whore who wants to take ownership of a big hype event.
