This Place is Overall A Good Place

Years ago I found tigerdroppings.com through a friend who would send me links to the fark board when someone farked a picture that was funny. When I decided to sign up and start posting, I had no idea how to interact on a message board. It was the first time I really ever signed up on a message board.
At first I acted like an idiot because, like I said, I didn't really know how to interact on a message board. I didn't think of the people posting as people, I just saw a username and assumed it could be anyone just fricking around so I pretty much did what I perceived everyone else was doing..
Anyway, over the years, as I started to realize this place was more of a community and that people on here share parts of their life on here, etc I started to appreciate it more. During the floods last month, people posted asking for help and people from here delivered. Then this recent news about MScoastigergirl, reading all of the comments, it reminds me of just how unique this place is. We all argue, call each other dumbasses, idiots, etc, but at the end of the day most of you seem like good people.
I just felt the need to express the appreciation I have for this site, especially the OT.
At first I acted like an idiot because, like I said, I didn't really know how to interact on a message board. I didn't think of the people posting as people, I just saw a username and assumed it could be anyone just fricking around so I pretty much did what I perceived everyone else was doing..

I started it because I was banned and it was an indirect way for me to try to communicate with the board.
If you really want to call it "starting my own message board". It took about 10 mins to start and it was by no means meant to compete with this place. But terd started his own for awhile. I think he kept it up long enough to generate just enough from google ads to be able to cash out.

You might not believe me and there is nothing I can do if you don't but I swear I am not trying to "seek attention" from this thread. I provided two examples as to why I felt the need to start this thread, but like I said... You will believe whatever you want so...
