The guy can't just buy them one? It's not like it's expensive. He had to make a post instead so people can see how kind he is.

Anyway, someone is getting one. The guy asked for the gofundme to be taken down.

These are the types of things I always donate for. I love seeing kids playing in the street. Everyone should have access to a hoop, field, goal, whatever.

You can get one of those old school ones you hang from the roof edge for less than 50 bucks.

From the looks of this guy I wouldn't trust him with a pile of go fund me money when what he needs from it will only cost a few cents on the dollar.

I'm sure the police station or city could get them one pretty easily.

He was just looking to see if someone had an extra goal, which lots of people do, so he wouldn't have to spend the money. The guy is doing "off-duty patrol" so doubtful he is rolling in money.

Some of y'all love to project some negative light on mundane and innocent actions.

Meet me at sonic bitch

Also your ignorance shines through but I’ve seen you talk sports. What’s new. You literally have no fricking clue what you’re talking about but just keep showing up in the thread continuing to sound like a moron.

I don't know him personally but our Five Mutual Facebook friends are ALL Law Enforcement related through either BRPD and EBRSO.

You swung for the fences there on being all judgey but whiffed.

everyone does. It's called neighborhood parks, and BREC is pretty good at it.
Or they could go shoot at someone elses goal that has one in their neighborhood. You know, go make friends.

You having mutual swinging buddies doesn’t refute anything I said, bro.

I think the whole point was that this neighborhood doesn't seem to have one available

The goal has been secure (donation). The GFM $ will be held until the goal is actually donated on site. At that point the donors will be contacted to see if they are willing to allow the unused GFM money to purchase basketballs and athletic gear for the kids.
