Yep. At the end of the day it's poor people killing poor people. Single parent households are the most at risk of being in poverty and now we have something to talk about.

Well if black fathers weren't unjustly arrested and killed by the police the single parent household situation in the black community wouldn't be a problem!

well the crimes that really get police attention are violent crimes and then property crimes (as i said earlier)
when you throw in drugs (and the overlap with violent/property crime) and geography, you get a better picture of how these situations lead to the statistical skewing (just like how the populations in question already skew those stats)

How about we get to the WHY of black people shitting on those who ditch the prevailing "G-Code/culture/whatever" to get up OUT of there? How about WHY black people abdicate their voting clout to a party more interested in keeping them in said socioeconomic strata than genuinely helping them better themselves? How about WHY so many black people make excuses for our own ridiculously high crime/murder/recidivism rate, instead of bolstering each other up out of the muck?
Those are the questions that need to be addressed. Honestly, I'm not interested so much in where people began (people are always going to be born to different stations in life), but how hard they work to improve their circumstances. Some will have to work harder than others, regardless of race. That's just life.

yeah i was touching on this in the "homework" thread, indirectly
if more people truly focused on how much of our public resources were directed at people (of all races, mind you) who reject culture, goals, behavior, etc that has been proven to be more successful, in order to try to save themselves from these choices, you'd see a mass explosion of heads
