32.5% of rapes done by 13% of the population

LINK

I'm looking up child rape now for your argument.

Edit: I've gotten get going. You'll have to do your own research on child rape by race. Have fun with your argument.

If you were paying attention you would know that any group of people that are poor are more likely to commit crime. This statement is nothing new. I'm just speaking on people exposing their bigoted side by saying things like "Black people as a whole are criminals and teach their kids to be criminals".

You're deflecting now. Classic tactic when losing an argument. It's ok, though.

Not really.

I don't understand these thread titles/headlines/etc. that are all about "feelings." Blacks think cops are out to get them, so as a society, we have to change everything. They think their opinions should be law and it's hilarious to me. Statistics say they're wrong, but they're black so frick it, let's burn this bitch down.

You don't see me on here pointing out the fact that the #1 terrorist group in America since 9/11 is white men

Carry on.

Does that mentality ever stop blacks from telling whites how great they've got it? This is always a one way street. Blacks know everything about being white, apparently. Unfortunately, many whites buy into this intellectually lazy mentality.

This should be fun

It's the same reason why when you look at stats you have to account for overall population. Whites will be at the top of most lists. However, when you did into it this is what the numbers look like:

quote:

Now compare to their presence in the general population for likelihood of being a child molester as opposed to an average American:

Hispanics +96%
Blacks +59%
Whites -35%
Other -58%
This lines up with anecdotal reports of high rates of sex crimes in areas overrun aliens from Mesoamerica.

The myth lies shattered.

Hispanics are 2.3 X (135%) more likely to molest children than Whites.

Blacks are 85% more likely to molest children than Whites.

Where did the myth come from? It’s not certain, but for most crimes, especially violent crimes, Blacks have rates that are up to 6-9 times higher than Whites. For child molestation, these wildly elevated rates for Blacks are not seen; instead, the Black rate is close to double the White rate, not 6-9 times higher. So in child molestation, Whites much more approach parity with Black crime rates. This greatly increased White rate vis a vis Blacks compared to other crimes may have given rise to the illusion that Whites are more likely than Blacks to commit this crime.

I'll grant you that black Americans have pretty good reason to distrust the police.

Now will you grant me that police and white Americans have good reasons to distrust black people?

Or can the stereotyping and profiling only go in one direction?

Post the stats when you find them. They aren't scary. They are just numbers.

Have a great weekend.

Being completely fair and honest... there's more than one way to interpret those statistics. You have your bias and interpret it as black people commit more crimes. Another person with a different bias looks at those stats and says that they show that black people don't necessarily commit more crimes. They are just charged with more crimes. You have to know more than just raw numbers without context to understand statistics. The truth is actually probably somewhere in between, and it isn't just hard facts as some people would like to pretend. Context is important to statistics. It isn't a hard science. But then again this is the OT, and the truth isn't actually important here.

You're correct. Just with my personal experiences with the justice system, I (white male) have been shown more leniency than a poor black kid would've been.

I had an admittedly privileged upbringing. My dad owned a commercial & industrial general contracting company that he inherited from his dad. I have been arrested a few times in my younger days for DUI, minor in possession of alcohol, etc. Because of my dad's connections and the fact that the city judge lived in my parent's neighborhood, the charges would be dropped and my case thrown out. A poor black kid being raised by a single mom that may or may not care what happens to him would not have had that luxury.

This is fine to say if you want to make an emotional plea to an individual. But if you're trying to have a real conversation with someone in an attempt to solve problems, it's probably the most useless thing you can say.

To actually solve a problem you need to make changes, and we can't enact changes based on how you feel, we have to make changes based on actual facts.

So spew this bullshite next time you wanna make a dumb white girl feel guilty, but if you're having an honest exchange of ideas then save it.

That sounds more like being politically connected, not white privilege
