If you watch Michele Hunter's/NOLA FB videos, they're all standing under the expressway in the shade... I don't think they would've lasted 5 minutes on the elevated part...

There was a punk up to no good today near Bonnabel. He ran and was hiding in back yards. Probably 20 cops swarmed the area with the quickness and caught him in short order
