who eats raw pork?

I understand that medicines can kill the worms and flush them from her body without further harming her, but what kind of permanent damage are we looking at here? Seems to me like 10 years of having your grey matter gnawed on and defecated on by worms would have some lasting effects.

I do not eat pork of any kind. Pigs will eat anything including other pigs. And don't think for a minute that hog farmers aren't processing their dead pigs to feed to the live ones. (That's how mad cow got started, remember??)I am willing to bet that if any virus wipes out the human race will come from pigs.
