This is where me and the big man upstairs need to hash out some details. Young innocent kids dying of natural causes is a plan I can't go with

1. Good for you having some faith.
2. God should always be capitalized, especially if you're a Christian.

if child cancer is part of his plan then he doesn't deserve that respect.

I'm guessing he will go out via Sonic Knuckle-check.

Death is actually NOT part of His plan, it’s the result of sin. God didn’t intend for death; it’s a result of sinful nature.

A know-it-all on a sports message board telling God how things oughta be. You just can't make this stuff up!

Lots of terrible questions in life don't come with answers.

He sounds like a very brave little man. Much respect.

I honestly don't know how the parents dealt with all this.
Sounds like the entire family is exceptional.

If God is all powerful then children shouldn't get cancer.

God can meet me at sonic but $350 says he doesn't show up.

the ugliness of the world is the consequence of sin. If eternal life is the end result of the trials of this world than I'd say they will be inconsequential in the grand scheme of things.

How Did You Die?
by
Edmund Vance Cooke

Did you tackle that trouble that came your way
With a resolute heart and cheerful?
Or hide your face from the light of day
With a craven soul and fearful?

Oh, a trouble's a ton, or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it,
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only how did you take it?

You are beaten to earth? Well, well, what's that?
Come up with a smiling face.
It's nothing against you to fall down flat,
But to lie there -- that's disgrace.

The harder you're thrown, why the higher you bounce;
Be proud of your blackened eye!
It isn't the fact that you're licked that counts,
It's how did you fight -- and why?

And though you be done to the death, what then?
If you battled the best you could,
If you played your part in the world of men,
Why, the Critic will call it good.

Death comes with a crawl, or comes with a pounce,
And whether he's slow or spry,
It isn't the fact that you're dead that counts,
But only how did you die?

They must be. The nightmare of nightmares. Very sad....
