But, he has to live with guilt. He set all those fires in Chicago. Killed several firemen.

He’s 5’3”, maybe 125 Lbs.

So you’d have to live 75 years as a tiny man to enjoy maybe 10 years as a “fit” elderly man.

Not a good deal.

He did do a good Alan Shepard though.

Speaking of Alan Shepard, I was kind of surprised the Mercury 7 didn't really have all that extended lifespans. They all started in really good shape at around 40, figured more would make 90.

That's Captain Bart Mancuso of the U.S.S. Dallas.

His submarine tracked (Thanks, Jonesy!) and captured the USSR's Red October.

But, according to official government records, that never happened...

Scott Glenn is 81 years old
He is 6’0 tall and approx 175 lbs

He has said in interviews he works out with his own weight and doesn’t use weights to avoid injuries

Those guys were from a different era, several were smokers, they all lived on eggs, steak and potatoes, they only exercised if NASA required it. They were in good shape at age 40 from being born with good genes, but lived every day like they were invincible which eventually takes a toll on the body.
