Working from home. In sales. No one answering or responding.
Kids are home, after call at 8:00 PM last night saying they're out for at least two weeks.
Hurricane-esq crowd at the grocery store at 6:30 am, very little left.
Every activity for kids or adults in on hiatus for foreseeable future.
Local and small businesses pleading on social media for customers, with what's sure to be an economic disaster for a time on local levels.
Rumors swirling about potential cases of Corona within 10 miles, the thought that this is actually a very dangerous virus and nothing is safe to touch.
I can't think of anything quite like this before. Are kids, my own but everyone's, scared and not letting on or just oblivious as it seems? When will this end? Could it really go on for months? Will I make any damn money before June?
Be safe everyone.

There is indeed a Simpsons gif for every occasion.

I have a feelings that sometime around 2035 when VH-1 debuts I Love the 20's, the C-list comedians of the day will have a field day ripping us a new one over this.

Well said..... I am not in panic mode because we already don't get out much. But it seems like the rest of the country is shutting it down. I should be watching basketball right now but NO. It's gonna end up being hard for everybody. Looks like hot dogs for dinner watching reruns.

You're pickled, so you're safe.

I feel like I'm living in an episode of South Park

Yep. I usually have 200+ emails a day and I’ve had maybe 30 today. It’s crazy

What? That’s crazy. Fishing, turkey hunting, golf, tennis, basketball, bike riding, taking a walk, doing some yard work, reading a book, cooking/grilling, sitting on the couch and being consumed by television/news/message boards about Coronavirus. There is plenty to do.

I'm north of Denver, work in Denver. For unrelated Corona reasons I've WFH since Monday, so not been around a lot of people. I live in basically a bedroom community of families. No one is rude just yet, but I'm sure it's coming.

It's snowing and windy, but this will come.

Why would anyone answer the phone right now?
No one gives a shite about you selling them something right now.
They are dealing with their kids being out of school now

I'm hoping that this shifts the archaic thinking in corporate culture that everyone has to be in the same building for the same 8-10 hours to be productive.
We're about to find out just how many "important" meetings and other such bullshite could have easily been handled via a couple of emails, texts, phone calls etc.

Whether or not this virus is as bad as they say it is, it’s truly a weird time in the world right now. It just feels a bit off. Maybe it’s just the hysteria, but I’m not a fan.

They shouldn't. I wouldn't. I haven't. Just a terrible feeling of being out of control.
