As spoiled as people are, they wouldn't be able to survive if they had to give up something..

You'll be able to get gas all over in the next couple of days. Quit worrying about Cleetus who is better prepared than you.

I'm working 12-16 hour shifts every day so people can get back to normal. Commuting using my gas from before the sun comes up until after sunset. With no time to sit in a gas line for hours in the middle of the day. Don't need you telling me who's "better prepared" than me. Kindly go frick yourself.

So the Generac can crap out after 15 hours? My little Briggs and Stratton Storm Defender is a champ powering fridge, tv, window unit and a few lamps.

That's what I'm banking on. I'm working every day and don't really know when I'm going to be able to get gas. Cletus who's using his fancy generator to run everything in his house will hopefully run out of disposable cash soon and will be back to battery operated fans so I can make it to work.

What? It took me 9 minutes this morning to get to the pump. I didn't fill up all the way in order to leave more for others.

This morning I saw three different pick-ups filling up 50 gal tanks (in the back of truck, not grounded) today off of Ambassador Ext in Broussard. Every gas station I passed today in Lafayette had cars min 3 deep in every line.

Majority of the stations around Broussard and laff are now at, I just pulled up to one with 3 pumps still open off of 90.

My cul-de-sac is pooling. 1 person takes 2 gas cans each for 6 or 8 families and goes to find gas every couple days. We take turns. That way everyone doesn't waste gas driving to get gas separately. I'm not saying that's what the guy in the picture is doing but if it were, it would look the same.

This is what I was getting at in my post. I’d do the same for my family and neighbors, but frick it posses you off when he gets 49+ gallons and you get 0

Our family is huge so it is either one truck with 10 gas cans or 5 trucks with 2 gas cans each

bet you were f’n pissed. Not necessarily at the guy, but just absolutely pissed off at the situation.

I was, but more at myself because it was at a station closer to my house than the first 3 i went to that had gas the day before. Had I gone there first instead of last, I’m Golden.

Now, I’ve gotten some more and am good, but man that early morning I wasn’t happy

If every jackass on the culdesac gets a natural gas generator, no one’s will fire up because all of them will be putting too much strain on the natural gas line.

I’m gonna save up and get a propane powered one and get a 500 or 1,000 gallon tank and run minimally. Ferrel gas is still running and gunning.

I may be wrong, but I fully believe getting the bulk of Baton Rouge live again will take a lot of strain off of the pumps. We will become the go-to for Ascension, but it won’t be half the strain we’re seeing now. Hopefully that is only a few days away.

Precisely why I converted mine to NG and hook up directly to the meter. I can't remember every experiencing a shortage of NG. And no waiting in lines
