LOL at all the poor people in this thread. I may buy one once it starts getting cold again. I'm all for paying extra to get top quality.

I don't care if the thing can cook dinner, mow the lawn, has a compass built in and this thing built in which tells time. It's still just a hoodie.

I'd probably pay $89 if it did all that and still acted like a hoodie when I needed it.

Oh it's not even funny how much Wounded Warrior hates guns. They are openly hostile towards gun companies.

Ace I'm posting this to you just because I thought you might be interested. Wounded Warrior is Anti-Gun

WWP is my only charity. I have done significant DD on the organization, their fund raising and their overall policies. The assault on them from all sides seems inexplicable in light of their successes.

But, they are not anti gun, from what I can tell.

WWP's official statement on all the scam allegations AND the allegation they are anti gun

Not to stereotype, but the first time I saw a full zip hoodie that made a 'mask' I thought, "that's ready-made robber wear right there".

A quality hoodie sweatshirt. Is that equivalent to a respectable hooker?

I don't think this has anything to do with being "a poor". If I'm paying $89 bucks for a friggin' hoodie, it better have some features besides better fabrics and looking slummy.

Or, "that's a ready-made outer garment for 'oh shite, it's cold' weather"?

I thought robbers preferred panty hose? (NTTAWWT)

Used to support WWP but there is just too much smoke there. Mediocre charity ratings, really, really weak responses on the gun issues, a lot of vet friends indicating dissatisfaction with them.

When charities get huge they tend to become machines that stop doing a great job of carrying out their original mission and bully folks (See Komen). I'm sure WWP is still useful for a lot of vets and will probably be a good lobbying entity, but I've switched our support to Fisher House, Special Operations Warrior Foundation and Semper Fi Fund.

Well this Patagonia R1 Fleece Hoody destroys it. Since we're talking "greatest hoodie ever made", price shouldnt be an issue and performance should be the main underlying factor.

This Patagonia Piton Hybrid does as well. My brother has this hoody and it's absolutely awesome.

I've never owned an R1 but I'm sure it's better. The R1's i've seen are like skin tight though so it's not exactly casual comfort wear. I've owned R2-R4 but my softshell hoodys have just replaced fleece and I haven't found the need for a baselayer hoody yet.

I mean, he could be an alter, but I've seen this before, and it wasn't from TD.
