Worst decision in the world.
I haven't had an issue with them. Was the issue only with their CC? I had one with Main Street and paid it off. Didn't have an issue with it.

I have Jefferson Financial Credit Union. I like it a lot. They just got Kasasa. It's an account that gives back 2% on all debit purchases with no monthly fee.
They're POS and they will screw you over in a heartbeat. The local BR Branches aren't in control of anything from Customer Service to the lending approval and decision-making process. Some of that is with good reason as the local branches did such a poor job of loan analysis and review that they got the old CU to the point where they had to sell to JFFCU in the first place.
But make no mistake they're POS and will screw you over.
ETA: Just saw your response. I'll be honest that's the tip of the iceberg. Dealing with their Customer Service Department when I first unearthed the CC issue was enlightening to me. That's when I realized they had zero idea about use case scenarios for customer service and didn't have anyone worth 3 sh!ts in charge of their customer service, which was a stark contrast from before the takeover/merger.

So you get totally free ATM use at Walgreens?
The ATMs in the Walgreens are Chase machines, not 3rd party machines, so yes--totally free for Chase account holders.
It's my only access to Chase in Natchitoches. (I don't use 3rd party ATMs).

I guess I bank simple and just haven't had an issue. I get direct deposit. Auto loans are auto pay. Use my debit card and transfer money online. That is about it. CC's are with AMEX.

Capital One for bank. EFCU Financial for credit union.

Great. Thanks for the info. I just checked the Chase website and the Walgreens in my area don't have the Chase affiliation I guess.

I still have Navy Fed and also Pen Air.

Did the exact same thing. After the merger they "wiped out," the auto pay and then failed to tell me, and simply waited each month for the late charges and interest to be assessed and then manually removed them along with my payment without ever calling to notify me or writing in.
I had an auto pay arrangement set up on my CC through them for SEVEN YEARS WITHOUT ISSUE.
Nothing complicated about it. Period. They erased my arrangement, failed to tell me, and then took the money out-AFTER they assessed the charges...

ATM fee rebates (on the rare occasion I get cash) are clutch. Use any ATM machine anywhere, and no matter what the fee is it is rebated at the end of every month.

This. The ONLY problem with Schwab is depositing cash. Other than that, they've been a pleasure to use. I've had $6-$8 ATM fees rebated with them, including the ridiculous fees you see in a casino. Chuck FTW!

I do chase for everyday banking and also have a schwab investor checking so that I can go to any atm and dont have to pay any atm fees.

Been with Campus Federal Credit Union since 2004 and chave no complaints whatsoever. I get refunded ATM fees and a dividend if I do 15 debit transactions a month and have direct deposit.

My Capital One app is always fricked up. A benefit of banking with them is that they have banks and ATMs everywhere

Banks are all the same and I've never experienced a single one that was competent to do more than basic checking. Check out Fairwinds, the credit union, they've always got interesting deals on loans, credit cards, etc. Much, much better customer service too in my experience.

I was with Hibernia, which became Capital One. Cap has a good online system. I've used the app a couple time to deposit checks, and it worked fine (and is free; some banks charge for those photo deposits).
I pay no fees for my checking account, and it pays a little interest.
My Cap 360 savings account is linked and pays .75% now.
My Cap One Quicksilver card pays 1.5% cashback.
I like being able to see all of them on one app.
If I needed to borrow money for a car or something, I'd head to the credit union.
