1. Running down the street after the 'fog machine' where not only could you not see another person 2 feet in front of you or if a car was coming but you also probably knocked 20 years off your life expectancy.

Ride my bike anywhere I wanted with no way of checking in (pre cell phone). I'd be gone literally all day during the summer, and sometimes ended up 10-15 miles from home doing all sorts of stupid things with my friends.

When I was around 7 or 8 my dad would send me on my bike to get gas for the weedeater. It was about 1/4 mile away and I had to cross a busy highway. I'm pretty sure they would call CPS on someone for that today.

My parents weren't retarded, so no I wasn't allowed to play in insecticide.
I was allowed to ride my bike prettymuch anywhere. I'd be a little nervous letting a kid do that now.

We lived near the corner of Highland and Siegen, Winn-Dixie was where Calandro's is now. My dad would let us ride home on the hood of the car from a late night trip to Winn-Dixie (about 1 mile)

Dress up in full catchers gear and ride our go kart down the street (we lived at the dead end) as my friends would be in the trees trying to snipe me with bb guns.

Ride from north Alabama to Orlando in the back seat of a 1974 Buick Regal Coup averaging 80 to 100 MPH, with no thought of seat belts.

Yeah, we would go to the neighborhood part (about a qtr mile down the road) by ourselves or with friends and stay there all day long. No way in hell you could do that nowadays.
