Until I was 8, I thought the world was in black and white when my Grandmother was young... due to old movies being in black and white.

A cousin of mine never liked getting to NYC as a kid and he thought the Lord's Prayer included the line, "and lead us not into Penn Station, but deliver us from evil."

I thought bedroom suite was pronounced "sweet" and not "suit." Who knew?
So when you check into a hotel you request a "suit" instead of a suite(sweet) ?

I still don't know the proper way to abbreviate the city Alexandria, often referred to as "Ell-eck." Alec and Alex just don't seem right. Elec also looks dumb. I have resorted to always spelling the whole word out when writing about it.

I thought Darius Rucker was Hootie until he started performing on his own and a friend pointed out to me that neither "Hootie" not "the blowfish" were references to him.
ETA- the blowfish could be a cool name for a horn band that does a lot of coke

Also, when I was a kid I thought it was "War War 1 & War War 2"
Me and all my friends thought this too. I still find myself saying it on accident every now and then although I know it's not correct.
I just found out a few months ago that 'multible' is not a word.

You also seem to think they are named poodoo ducks... It's poule d' eau. Which is French for "water hen"
