Hole in the wall places to eat, bars, best places for live music
And what bars would at least have a somewhat decent crowd tonight?
Any other recommendations would be awesome as well

fond memories of nashville in 2012
went with a group, but not being rowdy
the waffle house was nice
that and being woke up by a cpl different roosters
and that was close to the city

one place I always try to hit when in the area is Puckett's Grocery...not the place for heavy drinking, but it fits the bill for every single thing that you mention...

Hit Broadway and get a drink at every bar. Live music will be at every joint. My favorite Tonk that isn't a complete tourist spot is Full Moon Saloon. Broadway brewhouse has some great beers and good food as well. Paradise Park for drunk food. High end dining in the area, The Palm, The Southern and Bobs Steak and Chophouse.
And, oh yeah, you must hit the George Jones Museum rooftop bar on 2nd. My favorite spot downtown. Also, Acme Feed and Seed

Breakfast at the Phunky Pancake. Avoid the line at Pancake Pantry and go to this cool little hole in the wall
