George Jones Museum rooftop bar on 2nd. My favorite spot downtown

pretty awesome spot that's rarely crowded and doesn't have the touristy broadway feel.

do yourself a favor and go to demonbreun instead of broadway.

Broadway was a little too bourbon St type for me

I did see one band that was impressive, but it's very touristy. It's like Frenchmen street in Nola, but bigger and more tourists. Had a nice time nonetheless. I'll look around more tomorrow.

Try midtown. It's a two minute cab ride from Broadway. I was just thinking Broadway because it's Sunday night and it would have the most going on. Midtown is much less touristy. Soulshine in midtown always has great live music as well.

I just moved from Nashville but a couple non-strip areas with good food and drinks are the 5 points area in East Nashville and 12 South area near Belmont.

As I understand it, what you're supposed to do is have a tailgate party with ice cold beer and dance with them daisy duke wearing girls under the moonlight.

Lunch at Hattie B's, go with the Shut the Cluck Up, black eyed peas salad and potato salad.

Santa's sucks. If you want good dive bars, go to:

Go to Bobby's Idle Hour on Music Row

Springwater Supper Club by Centennial Park

Mickey's in East Nashville

Dino's in East Nashville

Of course The Ryman Theater is a must. Bluebird Cafe also, but if you don't have tickets already you're probably not gonna get in. The Listening Room is a decent alternative.

Restaurants - Etch, Husk, Rolf and Daughters, The Farm House, Acme Feed and Seed, The Southern (hell yea) Virago.

Upper end bar is in the Hermitage.

Definitely go to a Preds game! If you have never been to an NHL game it's something you need to do! Nashville does a great job with their hockey team!

Pharmacy was great.

Went to Carter's Vintage Guitars. Absolutely insane. Every dream guitar; L5s, vintage strats, old ES 335s. Best music shop I've ever visited.
