Eat some Eyetalian food in the North End. Get a cannoli at Mike's Pastries.

You're welcome.

Freedom trail (go to the top of the Bunker Hill monument, it's worth it)
Fenway
Harpoon brewery
Cheers bar
Newbury street

I'd suggest just using the T for transportation. I think a week long pass is like $18

Cash only so be prepared. Mikes is good, but it's a big tourist spot so there's almost always a line.

Grab a slice of pizza at Galleria Umberto right across the street for lunch too. My favorite pizza in Boston.

If Mike' line is outrageous, go to modern pastry. It's right down the block and just as good. Less of a line.

Truth. But honestly I think Bova has the best pastries and it's much more of a local spot than Mikes and Modern.

Sweet. Note taken. I've been twice and love the city.

I've lived here for a year now and I love this city. The winters are brutal, but you learn how to dress for it. This time of year is perfect though. Been spending a lot of time hiking in NH and going out on the Charles river.

Bad arse. Wish I'd have posted about Boston before hand. Would have liked to met up or at very least get some local scoop. I'm sitting in Logan now about to board.

Ah that's a damn shame. Would have been happy to make sure you got a bit more of a local feel. Next time you come up start a thread, I usually try to give advice when I see a Boston thread, which happens a lot more than I would have thought.

If the Red Sox are in town take in a game at Fenway Park. I did it and loved it

AbitaFan: You got any idea if the Charles is safe to swim? I'm training for a sprint tri and need more open water experience.

We did this and were only there thurs-Sunday at the end of May. It more than payed for itself. And by the time you're ready to leave, you'll have it all figured out

Cap Crunch mentioned a lot of the same touristy things that we did as well. Tour Fenway if you can't see a game, it's definitely worth it.

Get a Yankee's jersey, and go teabag the first passed out Red Socks fan you see. They love this stuff up there. Trust me!! You'll be a hit!!!
