Can you imagine the uproar if Disney reran "Song of the South" - the Brer Rabbit cartoon movie? The dialogue and accents were so bad in it I'm surprised any brothers and sisters folks even consider going to Disney. It is a wonder the rioters haven't knocked down the gates, and ripped Goofey apart.

Sundown towns, drinking fountains for white only and colored only, same for restrooms, Kaplan, LA had a black Catholic church and a white Catholic church, also had a black swimming pool and a white swimming pool. My first year of integration was senior year in 1967. Prom was canceled.
