The american people, regardless of race, are dumber than K-9 excrement and very easily manipulated. Lucifer is very very good at his job and he has this country by the scrotum.

I literally fricking hate these people. I was fairly impartial at first but at this point I hate them. I'm not alone either. This entire stupid shite is becoming counter productive and at this point is doing nothing but pissing people off.

What specifically is angering you?

You don't feel like you're being listened to?

Well doxxing middle schooler's and posting their names and phone numbers because they stand with law enforcement is a start. The hypocrisy of the whole movement. Making a martyr out of the lowest common denomenator. Literally categorizing everything that goes against the agenda of the movement as racist. The list goes on.

Here's your daily reminder that "white privilege" is a lie meant to casually imply that black people are lesser than white people by default.

You are welcome ??

I'm not going to sit up here and say that there isn't an issue with communication. I do think there's a listening problem we have here. Everyone wants to just talk and not really listen to the other side, and that just creates anger and frustration, doesn't get us anywhere. It's my impression that there are a lot of white people that feel that they're not being listened to and that they're being misrepresented by the actions of a few, and those feelings are valid.

One thing I will say is I that this idea that Floyd is being treated as a martyr is a strawman. I first heard Candace Owens say that. Maybe there are some people here and there glorifying his character, but I don't see that as the prevailing sentiment at all. Floyd is not a martyr, hero, or anyone remarkable other than the fact that he's a human being. He was a man that was killed by someone sworn to uphold the law. That's it, he's a symbol for that, and that's enough for outrage and calls for change.

If you want to react to people that will get you angry then there are more than enough of those to go around. There are minorities and those sensitive to this issue that are willing to discuss in a fruitful manner. There are some on this side that have a long way to go as far as improving the way they communicate, but there are good people on all sides of this. All you have to do is engage them.

I appreciate your response as it seems level headed and sincere but the problem is with this stuff there is no listening. You can sit and listen to the other side all day but the problem is half of it doesn't make sense. It's just demand after demand and whining about life not being fair/finding something to be angry and offended about and casting the blame on others that have nothing to do with any of it. These people aren't going to talk to you they just want to talk at you but they have no idea what they're actually talking about. They just ramble off buzzwords and parrot MSM talking points and try and use off base shame and guilt to get you to follow their agenda.

No doubt.

Case in point, there's 20 downvotes to my OP yet no one has even answered any of my questions.

There hasn't really even been a good attempt to answer them.

I don't support the fools who drive the wrong way on interstates and kill innocents.

I don't support the local folks who murder children in their care.

And on and on.

Generalizations are foolish and easily knocked down. But that would mean somebody listens to what's said.

I often wonder had Colin Kaepernick just come out and didn’t kneel and had a list of all unarmed men (black, white, Asian, and Hispanic) and had done something different; where would we be today?

Probably much further along and united. Instead he alienated 85% of the people he needed to help him with his cause.

I think another thing that alienates people is the fact that police killing innocent people is actually super rare, hell justified police killings are rare themselves.

The outrage doesn't correlate with what actually happens.

And that person has been arrested and will have his day in court. Just as the system intended and was designed. So, why all this faux outrage?

None of this is political.

While good old boys everywhere, including the OT, have been ignoring "politics" as much as possible for their adult lives, people who hate everything those good old boys hold dear have been busy making every aspect of life "political", and now it might be too late to do much about it.

It turns out they won't just leave us alone and let us be. They won't be happy until our way of thinking is outlawed.

See, I do think comments like this are a problem. Why is it "faux outrage?" No one wants to be told how to feel.

People get pissed off when they're told that what they're feeling is fake, or not authentic, just as no one wants to be labeled a racist when that's not in their heart.

Because the AA community are the only ones that hold these guys on a pedestal. Candace Owens said it yesterday. You don’t see white, Hispanic and Asian people making T shirts and holding protests for our bottom of the barrel people who get shot resisting arrest.

It’s because hip hop gangster culture, no snitches, take what you want, no regard for life is glorified in that culture. You can’t possibly have an honest conversation without addressing that.

This is great! You have the same questions as I but you’re able to talk about it in a manner where your feelings don’t bubble. This is perfectly written!
