Are the bird flu fatality rates only from people who got sick enough for them to test for it? Could it be like COVID where there were a where a ton of mild cases that never got tested?

Fact is, most of the news media have been off for the holidays. They recorded this story along with a few others (South Korean airliner crash, etc.). Just before the holidays, so we have seen this multiple times over the last week.
Other stories will take its place once we get back to the normal news cycle.

While those viruses do indeed exist, I don’t think they’d release that one intentionally… unless of course they have a private vaccine for themselves that unlike the mRNA technology actually works.
