A lot of these people at protests spend way too much time thinking about their outfits. For most, this is primarily a social event, this isn't about protesting.

That photo is like the KC Stockyards after a long trail ride from Texas, and the herd was savagely attacked my Indians, wolves, and inclement weather. Rough looking crowd.

So out of the 50 arrested sunday. 24 were white female SJWs.

They were all on Facebook patting each other on the back talking about how they made history, which made no sense at all. I am not sure what delusional world they live in getting arrested on a side street in Baton Rouge didn't accomplish anything.

Protester from NOLA. Police escalated it she claims.

from my friend Samantha who was at the protest in BR yesterday. I wanted to share my account of what happened in Baton Rouge last night as it differs greatly from what is being reported (specifically Kevin Litten's reporting on nola.com).
We arrived late, after the march had already left for the Capitol. There were march organizers directing people to the capitol and ensuring that they were safely crossing streets. There were also many people on the route handing out cold water. We arrived at the Capitol just as the speeches were ending and people were returning to Wesley UMC for a candlelight vigil for Alton Sterling. We walked peacefully back to the church, I did not witness any violence on the behalf of protesters or the police.
I have participated in and organized many protests, marches and rallies through the years, and I was so impressed by the level of organization and thoughtfulness that the young organizers put into this march. I believe that when the police arrived at Government and East and began donning gas masks people became scared. Police arrested one person on Government St and when a legal observer approached, they arrested him too (I have never seen a legal observer arrested before). People began spreading out and moving down East St. More police, now in full riot gear, started moving up France St.
Meanwhile the police were using crowd dispersant sirens. I was near the corner of East and France when I noticed more police coming up from behind the houses, blocking East St between Government and France (possibly as far down as Europe St). The intersection of Government was blocked as well and police began making announcements that anyone on the street would be arrested. A woman who owned a home on East and France began inviting people into her yard, her private property. She and others at the home were handing out water and asking people to spread the word that her yard was a safe space. I witnessed people respecting the property and peacefully demonstrating in her yard.
I did not witness any protesters throwing chunks of concrete (as nola.com has reported). As nearly 100 police officers, in full riot gear and carrying guns, surrounded the house I heard someone say that the house was surrounded and that police were about to use tear gas. People started to run, and Logan and I ran with them to a parking lot across the street.
What I have heard from friends who remained in the yard was that police entered the yard, possibly knocking down the woman's fence, and began forcefully arresting protesters. I have seen multiple videos of protesters being thrown to the ground and know of several people who were arrested in the yard. Video: https://www.facebook.com/RevNews/videos/690371467783085/?pnref=story
As police marched down France St we watched from a block down on Maximillian St. The largest group of police continued to march down France, while around 20 police officers turned and began marching down Maximillian, forcing protesters into oncoming 2-way traffic on Government St. Much of the area was blocked off by police in riot gear so we waited at the intersection of Government and Maximillian. There, we witnessed police laughing at protesters with their fingers on the triggers of their guns.
There was also a drone flying just above us, filming us. We heard after the fact that at this time that the police were using technology to block phones so people could not take videos or access social media.
As previously mentioned, I have attended many protests but I have never experienced this level of state aggression. It was scary and unsafe, but only after the police arrived. I am terribly disappointed in news outlets and elected officials who are reporting that protesters escalated the situation, when in fact the police escalated the situation. I have always supported ?#?blacklivesmatter? and will continue to do so and be an ally wherever and however I can.
If you are looking for a way to support today, please consider donating to the Baton Rouge Bail Fund (organized by the National Lawyers Guild). Over 150 people were arrested over the weekend at peaceful protests in Baton Rouge, money raised will be used for bail and any additonal money will help with legal fees. https://www.crowdrise.com/baton-rouge-bail-fund

What kind of life does the average SJW come from? Or they mostly privileged fricks who has nothing better to do with their time and/or they feel guilty because they are privileged so they feel they have to be the voice of people they feel are less privileged? Why are they so mad?
The white ones are generally the children of middle class or upper class families. The third wave feminists are overwhelmingly middle to upper class white women.
That's really what's the weirdest thing about this SJW movement. They are people who have more "privilege" than just about anyone in human history. Rather than feel lucky about that or devote themselves to charity (education or job training in poor areas like rural west virginia or urban detroit for example) they seem most interested in placing blame on other people who they allege have even more "privilege".
How often do people being indoctrinated into this pity and blame mess step back and wonder wtf they are doing with their lives?
