Yes, but it’s far more unlikely, and I’m also not much of a threat to kill anybody while riding a bike on the levee.

Varies by state but I think LA courts held the DUI laws don't apply to bicycles.

They’re like $9/month to use, and if you pick your spot wisely enough, you don’t have to sit in a ton of football traffic. Park downtown, hop on a blue bike, and save yourself a lot of stress and money

Way too hot for that

Gotcha. I asked because I had no clue. I've heard of it some cases but maybe not in LA. I had a co-worker's cousin get one on a riding lawnmower

The ones in Birmingham are called Zyp. They've been here since 2015. I've never used one but it seems to work out pretty well. The stations don't take up much space and are out of the way, but in convienent areas. I've never seen one just left out in a random spot like the scooters in some cities

If these existed when I was in college I wouldve definitely used them. Put them next to the parking lot and that’s like 10 min extra sleep.

They were nowhere to be found after the game - I was looking for one and the racks were empty

Bikes are so 2018, scooters rule now. With that said I just used the city rental bikes to get around in Portland and I've used them in NYC. Its a lot cheaper than Uber if you are just going a short distance.

Boise is filled with green bikes and 3 different scooter companies. They are very convenient and see a lot of use. It also helps that Boise runs a long a river and has a well maintained greenbelt system.

If you get run over by a bus because your citi bike had faulty breaks
You could probably get money from the city

They also introduced motorized bikes here

They clearly didn’t test them and those were faulty too.

Many people got into serious injuries due to faulty engines
They took those out ASAP. (And were sued)

There are already tons of NYC Citi Bike defense attorneys in the city
It’s been done
