Dude, you could have posted some context, such as the new hire working for an indicted mayor and also having shady stuff go on.
I did, keep reading

While the OT is infamous for over-stating the negative aspects of New Orleans, I have ZERO confidence that this broad is going to improve any aspect of this city besides grift and political handouts.
Before Mitch went full SJW the city was on the uptick, but his second term and her election have erased any positive momentum.

The good people of the city are stepping back and enjoying life. The element looking for the shortcut to get ahead are stepping up.

Funny thing is, the few white people she's appointing are basically just as bad. No real reason to leave them off.

I did and I saw that. But you're original post was carefully calculated to illicit certain responses, I'd wager.

How can the city burn if the SWB causes it to flood first?

I pushed for my baw Henry pretty hard.
I have no hopes for her as a good mayor, but when has the city had "a good mayor". I'm not sure that's possible today.

Happened in the days after Katina. Houses on flooded Carrollton Avenue went up in flames.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -
Attorney General Jeff Landry issued a statement Thursday to "clarify any misinformation" regarding the investigation into Mayor-Elect LaToya Cantrell's city spending investigation.
Landry's statement comes after Cantrell's team presented her with the finalized transition plan.
Cantrell's inauguration ceremony is scheduled for Monday.
Landry said the investigation into Cantrell's spending is on-going, and that the investigation is more widespread.
According to the statement, the investigation will also focus on the city's spending practices.
quote:
"While we normally do not comment on investigations, we feel the need to do so in this matter since there has been too much misinformation being spread to the public. Our investigation in New Orleans is still ongoing and it is more widespread than just the Mayor-Elect. The Legislative Auditor is also involved to examine the City's spending practices. We look forward to his audit's conclusion and will not make a prosecutorial decision until at least such time," -Attorney General Jeff Landry

For pure research, can you we try and have a discussion on successful American cities that have predominately black govt leadership
I would like shel or lester earl to discuss
Ever see me talk politics and specifically government leadership around these parts?
I'm not sure why this topic is for me?
Off topic, but one thing I find funny is LE gets really irked when I use exclamation points and as a result one time he went on a rant about how I was an SJW blah blah blah. Your post basically shows he has no self awareness.
