Just goes to show you what the rest of the country actually knows about storms we deal with . These morons didnt even know it was coming. 75% of the country doesnt even know we had a storm.

It was probably set up in advance.
They didn't know the storm was going to be a 4 until 48 hrs before.
They probably didn't want to stand in line for gas. 3 flights got cancelled.
Most people thought the hurricane wasn't going to be a direct hit.

They may have not been able to get out Monday or Tuesday but they could have definitely gotten out Wednesday. And the Quarter had power 3 days after the hurricane. So unless you're a cheap arse tourist, you should have had power 3 days later. The story is probably exaggerated.
