There still have been less than 1% of the US population to contract COVID

Some other simple common sense as well.
The death rate under 75 years old is infinitesimal, but they wont tell you that anywhere, you have to find it for yourself.
They like to keep the totally tally of all cases, even as people recover they don't subtract those numbers so it looks more dreadful. If you want to look at how much money you have, you look at your bank balance, not how much you have ever made since you started working.
The illustration of how a virus spreads with people using paint on their hands is a joke. This is a VIRUS, it does not replicate as it goes from surface to surface.
No news source ever talks about viral load and how much virus it takes to cause an infection. They want you to think a single virus can put you in the hospital.

If you only count the confirmed cases
If only 1% of the population has contracted it, that would be VERY bad news.

You lost me at less than 1% of US population has had COVID.
Do you not Antibody bro?

I'd say we're probably close to at least 10% of people in all metro areas of over 100K have had it

shite, I don't know if I've ever seen a stronger collection of stupid takes. Is this a joke post or troll?
I really, really hope this was a troll post.
quote:Probably closer to 10%. If it was really less than 1%, this thing would be deadlier than the spanish flu.

quote:Yep, that's what a "tally" is.
They like to keep the totally tally of all cases
quote:The active case numbers are easy to find.
even as people recover they don't subtract those numbers
quote:No, it's so we know how many people have tested positive.
so it looks more dreadful.
quote:So? When you get taxed, they look at how much you made, not how much you have left.

quote:No, they don't talk about it because nobody really knows, and it likely varies immensely from person to person. I have never once thought that I was trying to be convinced that "a single virus" can put me in the hospital.

And the difference is that the paint is replicating?
That was about as dumb as thinking only 1% of the US has been infected

You are a horrible person, rooting for a God damned virus for political gain.
This is bullshite, your post is bullshite.
The WHO just admitted to a huge lie yesterday.

Just dropped in for a quick downvote and to agree that your paint comment is hands-down the dumbest on the board today so far.... so far.

Considering it is also a head cold, I’d say you’re right.

CDC came out and said they think somewhere near 25 million people have gotten it in the US.
Most people wrote off the Jan and Feb sickness as normal flu, but was likely Covid. Majority of people who get it are asymptomatic.
A lot more people have had it than the numbers show.

is 1% some arbitrary number that it will take for you to care? what difference does it make? at this rate we will get there and likely exceed it.
Posted on 7/3/20 at 8:56 am to IntenseSaint
Yeah but when a couple of your co-workers get it and you can't take off to go go do fun shite then it really begins to affect your life so take your shite elsewhere... I'm sposed to be on vacation.

You meant to post this dumbassery on the board that hosts Q tards.

So you double the 1% to account for undiagnosed cases you still only have 2% or to make you happy let’s triple it to 3%. That’s still not an impressive number.

Ok ‘ let’s say there are 25 million people that had it. That’s still only 7.5 percent. Still getting blown out of proportion to reality.
