know doctors who are laughing at people wearing mask and those doctors are not wearing in public.
Your doctors wear masks in private?
That tells me all I need to know.

Where are you going to go when you need a prescription or God forbid you ever get cancer or get in a car accident and your life is in danger?

There is literally no reason for a healthy individual to wear a mask. I have yet to see factual data that shows healthy individuals wearing masks reduces disease transmission.
Honest question: If a surgeon is healthy and performing an appendectomy, is it ok for them not to wear a mask? Maybe the question is why do medical professionals rely on masks if they're useless?

I don’t disagree but a healthy person could still have the virus and be asymptomatic and could pass it on to at risk people.
I don’t think healthy or low risk people should be mandated to stay home or wear mask.
I believe the people that are at the most risk or afraid of catching it should either stay home or wear mask.
Shutting down the healthy people to protect the unhealthy people is fricking insane.
How about we shut down the unhealthy people so us healthy people can keep this country going.

Masks are worn in the OR to prevent normal bacterial flora which are present in mouths and nasal cavities of healthy people from entering a sterile wound where they can lead to infections. Same reason hair coverings and clean scrubs are required in OR. If a surgeon is sick, they should not be doing surgery.

Can a sneeze or cough and its microscopic germs from an unmasked person enter the nasal cavity of another unmasked person in close proximity?

I already explained this...
Surgeons, doctors, dentists, wear masks to prevent bacteria (which lives on everyone) from potentially getting in an open wound and causing an infection. Not to prevent a virus that they don’t have. Same reason I wear masks and gowns when I compound sterile drugs. To prevent bacteria that live on me from getting in your meds.
Besides how many people are you walking up to and breathing on?

I, for one, will continue to not wear a facemask unless it's required.

I would like to see the rate of transfer from asymptomatic individuals to others. I really want to see that

If its a surgeon or dentist looking down on you a few inches away... yes.
The argument is not for people that are sick... I.E. coughing to not wear mask. It’s for healthy/asymptomatic people to not have to wear mask. Just like during flu season, people walk up to the pharmacy counter with masks on to get their tamiflu.

Logically, to say wearing a mask increases risk makes no sense.
Because people touch their faces more when wearing a mask, especially if you wear glasses. This greatly increases the chance of you transferring the virus to your previously protected face.
