It would be stupid as hell to invest any amount of time into getting a storm to hit New Orleans even if it was possible.

This isn't some conspiracy, hurricanes are going to make landfall. That New Orleans is an exception rather than the rule is more surprising.

From haarp.net, the definitive source about what HAARP is really up to:

HAARP.net is a blog by former DEM Senator Mark Begich brother that's totally loon and non scientific based.

Only one poster, upgray, has provided any scientific argument to make the counterpoint against what I am citing, which is from dozens maybe hundreds of websites.

And I doubt it made a dent.

Nobody cares to take time to argue with certain people.

Umm I've read the counterpoints which make more sense than the haarp is evil idea.

If this technology did exist we'd all be gone.

The machine doesn't have the power to manipulate a hurricanes path. In order to do so it would also have to manipulate the high and low pressure weather systems from hundreds of miles away and for many days before it could even do so in order to get the desired result. It would also have to manipulate water temperatures and wind shear etc.

Too many variables

I have to go and there's no point arguing with people who watch Fox News and listen to Rush for their science, but I recommend this book:

Angels Don't Play this HAARP: Advances in Tesla Technology

It is well sourced.

Read some sites like haarp.net. It will open your mind.

ive always thought that ever since Katrina the government has been trying to control the weather through some method but not that we were attacked.

I saw that argument, which somewhat swayed me against the manmade disaster theory. But, the podcast addressed that issue. As I recall, HAARP wasn't used to start the hurricane, which would require intervention days before, but was used to manipulate its path and strength.

I think that lack of reading comprehension skills explains this thread.

Why was this directed at me? You don't know me. I get my science from cereal boxes and that guy Leonard who hangs out at the liquor store
