That is not the point. Enacting a law and hoping everyone follows it in this environment can be deadly. Policy reviews need to happen.

Half of the wildfires that occur out west are due to the idiotic fire management policies. Fire-adapted systems have had fire excluded for decades, with little fuel load reduction. That leads to heightened wildfire potential. Ever wonder why we don't have raging, thousand acre wildfires in the southeast like they do out west? Better forest management.

Blame Smokey the Bear and that ridiculous "only you can prevent forest fires" crap for scaring people into thinking fire is bad in every system.
