There are at least a few women chess players who are really attractive. It might just be because it is such a nerdy male dominated scene that they stick out, but I have come across several.

You're mixing up a few different things there.

The best woman player ever, pretty much without debate, is Judit Polgar who is the only woman to qualify for the World Championship Tournament. She is getting a little older now, and retired from competitive chess a few years ago.

The woman who refused to play for the women's tournament in Iran this last year was Hou Yifan, the current world's strongest woman player. At first I thought it had something to do with the restraints on women there, but it was really more of a disagreement that she had with the way that FIDE organized the women's championships and such.

There was also another woman, Dorsa Derakshani, who was kicked off of the Iranian chess team for problems with not wearing a burka. She is very young and a Women's Grandmaster and International Master. Her brother was also forbidden for playing chess for Iran because he played an Israeli player in a tournament. I believe they are both in America now.

That woman, Nazi, is also a Woman's Grandmaster and International Master. It's certainly a very impressive accomplishment, but it's very far off from competing for the general world championship.

I've played chess before. I never sat with my opponent like that but I didn't read a rule book or anything either. Maybe I'll try to frick my opponent in the arse next time. I'll show him.
