Strep is bacteria. Replace it with HIV or Herpes.

malaria, strep, botulism, cholera, all not viruses. may need to re-title the trhead.

Preach. My strep went undiagnosed and ended up with Rheumatic fever.

Going with malaria also. Takes a genetic mutation to slow it down. Plus, a good gin and tonic helps.
