Take the batteries out of the thermo as negotiation fodder.

I keep one like this in the bathroom. The rest of the house stays cold. My wife bundles up like a damn Eskimo. Current tempt at the thermostat is 61.

One of the few benefits of living at the beach in So Cal. My AC is on about 30-50 days a year. My windows are open about 290 a year. It is cold enough to close them the other 25-45. I’m not even sure my heater works

I keep my thermo at 74 in the summer (the AC never goes off) and 60 in the winter.

If you are ‘cold’ at 60, bitch, put a sweatshirt on.

I've cut my house heater off at the breaker box. This summer the blower motor was stuck on and I didn't wanna try to fix it. Now I just keep 2 small space heaters on in my bedroom. It must be like 30 degrees in the kitchen when I'm cooking breakfast tho . But wow the money I'm saving

She figures that's the only "heat" going on in the house.

Tell her that when the temp is turned up to 77 or above, it makes you really horny. She’ll turn that bitch down quick rather than have sex. Women are really simple unless you are lucky and married a really horny one.

It got down to 29° here in Bossier last night… My thermostat is set on 63°. I can’t stand the feel when our heater kicks on. Even at that temp...when the heater is running, our room feels like a damn sauna. I’ve always been able to handle cold weather much better than when it’s hot. We’ve got so many windows on the backside of the house, which faces the sun this time of year, our house heats up well on its own on sunny days.

I hardly ever get cold since I walk around in the winter in shorts and a light sweatshirt most of the time. More for the wife and her cold blooded nature.

It's set at 66 right now and she's got on long flannel pajamas and a heavy robe that goes damn near to the floor and is still chilled.
